Default How to self motivate for exercises?

I used to be a normal, little slim gal (hmm ok ok accepting, not gal, a lady). But after delivery, I didn't shed any weight until my son turned 9 months old... Then somehow I got motivated and started doing pranayama (which I learnt before) and believe me, I got reduced from 74kg to 65kg in 3 months time... Though my abs didn't get the form (due to c-section), my body weight came to perfect level.... Once when my son started running, I went to 63kg, which showed me as underweight for my height (158cms)....

But now the problem is, I started munching a lot (no idea why I feel eating always) and now raised to 69kg (oopsssssss)... But not getting motivated to start doing pranayama or exercises... Feeling too lazy... Climate is too chill out, and so sleepy most of the days Sitting before computer adds to my weight...

Any tips????

Hi Meetu, am back after a short interval...Regarding your losing wait, please answer me the following questions:
Did you lose weight by doing only pranayama? or did you do it in addition to walking?

How long did you do the breathing exercises in a day?

For motivation, let us motivate each other...

I too have seen me losing my abs weight when I do kapal bhati regularly. As you say, I too need self motivation to do my exercises regularly...

Wish you all the best and wish me too for the same reason...

This happens when we feel depressed or sad. Don't ever let it happen....Pranayam and yoga will refresh your mind and also meditation and these will in turn help you from avoiding depression.

Walking, I did once or twice a week. But then used to keep walking inside the house, here and there most of the time. I would say 95% of my weight lose was only due to Pranayama.

How long did you do the breathing exercises in a day?

45 minutes. Before starting Pranayama, I used to do few exercises like, dhanurasana (lying on stomach and raising two legs and hold with hand, looks like bow), sit ups and crunches for 10 minutes

Sure chellamaa, so shall we start a schedule from now?

Wishing you and in turn you bless me

Also I heard in winter, you will feel more hungry. Is that true?

Wink Eat well and Exercise..."weller"

Thank you Meetu for the detailed explanations to all my questions. The way you have explained reminded me of our friend Mike...He too answers each question in the way you have done.

As far as I have noted about myself, I feel that you are hungrier in summer as you lose much energy. In winter we tend to grab the oily stuff like pakodas, bajjis etc which help us in becoming a perfect rounded figures...

My best wishes and blessings are always there with you in everything you do...

Shiju used to answer like this chellamaa... I used to send him a list of to do items or some other works in mail... He then replies for each item below the question itself with font color changed as I did
