i m nimira, 27 years. got married on 31st july 2010. i met him online. in our community website.

i was in africa and he was in USA. we used to chat everyday to know each other more. and finaly started talking on phone for hours n hours. finally i got visa with my family and we all came to usa. got married.

now, problem starts from here. when i got married my in-laws said that they dont have enough money so they will give me her ( mother in laws) used gold set. i said ok.

they said that they dont have money so thay will just give me a new ring and i said ok.

but riyaz(my hubby) said that he wants to buy gold bangles for me.when we went to the store they( mother and sister in law) also came and demanded gold chains and rings for them, i dint say a word.

when my hubby was buying nikah n reception clothes.... they( mother and sister in law) also demanded. and he had to buy for them.

when i went to buy matching fake jewelry n shoes.....sis in law also demanded.

during marriage we gave gifts to each and every family member...including those relatives which r not very close and who dint attend the marriage too. but from their side...nothing.

from pithi to nikah dad n riyaz had decided that they will share all the expences equally.....but dad was forced to pay for reception too.....which is riyazs duty....but still dad had to pay.

whatever we received as gifts was given to my mother in law..... which was my right. it was around 2500$ to 2750$. i dint say a word. which was given to her when she was going back to india.( 2 months after the marriage.)

immediately after marriage my sister in law got a new gold set.... where did the money come from?? and if they had money y did they give me a used 1.

my father in law took riyazs gold chain which was very nice and expensive, and they sold it after going to india and bought a new1 adding 37000rs. they said that i was my mother in laws...not riyazs anymore. we send them 500$ every month. but within 15 days they start calling us saying they need more money.....my mother in law is so kanjoos that she would prefer walking 2kms and not spending 20rs for autorickshaw, they where is the money going??

we had a apartment in India and my mother in law sold it and kept the money in bank saying that if we keep below 500,000rs in bank, we dont get interest. ( fooled us right??) she still has 700,000rs to come for the same apartment.
now she wants a new apartment and want us to pay for that apartment,... around 800,000rs.
i m pregnant right now. i need money for my baby to come. and she knows that.

my sister in law went to India and we gave her 1800$ to give it to her mom. so that we dont have to worry for next 6 months. but they finished that money in 15 days.

i m working 11 hrs non stop....not allowed to sit. and used phone. working like a gulam.

i have never worked in my life coz my dad never let me or my bro work, we have just enjoyed our life. and now look at my life.

tell me what to do.....i wanna die....that's the only way.
